Once. One entry per person, and that's the whole system. Extra email addresses, extra devices and anything else clever along those lines will get all of your entries pulled, so don't.

Legal residents of the United States — except New York, where it's void — and Canada, age 13 and up. If you're 13 to 17 you need a parent or guardian's permission to enter, and if you win the hunt, that parent or guardian comes with you. Employees of The Element and our affiliates, agencies and suppliers, plus their immediate families and households, are not eligible.

No. Getting yourself to Texas is on you. Once you're here you pick: we grab you at the airport, or you meet us on the property. Everything from that point is handled.

Yes, one guest at winner's expense. If the winner is under 18, a parent or legal guardian has to come along for the travel and the hunt. That one isn't optional.

Yes. If you'd rather send your dad, your brother, your best friend or your kid, you can hand the hunt off. Whoever goes has to be 13 or older, and if they're under 18 a parent has to approve it and be there for the trip. Just tell us before we book anything.

No. You need to be legally able to hunt in Texas, able to obtain a Texas license, and legally able to possess your weapon of choice. We handle the rest, including showing you how a saddle works if you've never hung in one.

Entries close October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central. Winners are drawn at random after that and notified by email — at the address you entered with — within five days of the drawing. You've got 15 days from that email to claim, or we draw somebody else. Check your spam folder.

Yes. Entering signs you up for our emails. If you don't want them there's an unsubscribe link in every one, and using it doesn't affect your entry.

Prizes are taxable income. We issue a 1099 for prize value of $600 or more, and the winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. Talk to your accountant.

You get the identical $5,316 package. Nothing held back, nothing downgraded. Second prize is the same gear, minus the plane ticket and the sunburn.
